The Kitchen Deity
The Kitchen Deity was seen as a guardian of the home. It would reside near the hearth and watch over the household overseeing the day to day activities in the most important room of the house, The Kitchen.
The kitchen is the beating heart of family life it is where the household gathers for them to be together for company for discussions and for meals. For The Kitchen Deity nothing is more important than the offering of food, wholesome, nurturing the gift of sharing a meal with those you love and cherish.
Welcome to The Kitchen Deity
Hello and Welcome, my name is Sarah Harbour and I am a Cognitive Nutrition Coach.
We are all bombarded with so much conflicting information when it comes to what we should and shouldn’t be throwing down our necks. You’re confused; I get it, so was I, until I retrained as a Nutritional Advisor, but I realised there was something missing and that something was Cognitive Behaviour and how our thoughts drive our actions.
There is so much food chatter and noise which has been pounding at your ears and I can help you to find that happy place where food will be your medicine and not the poison. This is where Cognitive Nutrition glides slowly and meaningfully into the frame. It’s not just about having more knowledge about good and bad foods, it’s understanding how your thoughts drive your actions and ultimately your behaviour.
I will give you the tools you need to help you to succeed in your weight management, whatever your goals, whether it’s to look fabulous in your wedding dress, no nonsense advice on what to eat for Type 2 Diabetes or help with menopausal weight gain.
We all need a little bit of help sometimes so let The Kitchen Deity help you with changing your thoughts about the food you eat.
